Click to return to Los Osos Birding Spots

Turri Road is a scenic 5 mi drive off LOVR.
Immediately pass over Warden Creek
which will later join Los Osos Creek.
Bird Houses start popping up on the left.
Look for birds along the fence line.
A farm entrance was a great birding stop.
The Merlin Bird App will ID the birds.
Just take a photo or record the chirping!

Rising up into the hills we found
The Bench sitting below Hinds Summit
elevation 4.6 chains? 1 chain = 66 ft
So about 300 ft... not too tall!
Look for a vernal pond on the right.
If there's water... there will be ducks!
